HARMAN Luxury Update
The Power of Partnerships
Dave Tovissi
Vice President and General Manager, HARMAN Luxury Audio
Whether the collaboration is internal with your colleagues, or external with other businesses with similar values and beliefs, the benefits of partnership are far-reaching. We have all heard the old saying that “Two heads are better than one.” At HARMAN, the power of partnerships is being realized almost every day.
Strategic partnerships benefit everyone, including the customer. This month we are highlighting one of our partnerships with Roon Labs. Our two companies share the same passion: to enhance the music listening experience. We are partnering with Roon to ensure bit-perfect playback on our products, and on creating awareness and training of their platform.
This month’s Tech Talk is our first article written by someone outside of HARMAN. The article focuses on the Roon platform and the benefits it brings to passionate audio enthusiasts.
Some organizations may be reluctant to partner with companies who could compete for a share of the audio enthusiasts spending power. We see it differently. We believe that working together with our strategic partners will result in a better product for all parties, and ultimately the end consumer. Our collaboration with Roon is just one example of how two companies with a common goal can work together to create better products for our industry.
In addition to the Tech Talk article, our training team has partnered with Roon to develop an e-learning module that will soon be offered on our industry-leading Harman Luxury University training site.
Big breakthroughs will not happen if we all work in silos. Collaborating with our partners will fuel growth for our industry and allow our dealers to offer innovative products and solutions. In future editions of our newsletter, you will hear from more of our partners.
